“The opposite of addiction is not sobriety but community”- a quote Wilson misquoted

One of the greatest blessings in my life was walking in the light with my porn addiction. It had followed me into college, ministry and marriage when I finally sought a recovery group. Out of the 10+ years in recovery I found one of my closest friends, Jesus’ grace in profound ways, and growing freedom to love my wife and see women with pure eyes and intentions.

I know it can feel hopeless and hidden, like something you’ll just have to live with in secret but there is hope for sobriety and freedom in Jesus.

We want to start groups of 2-3 people who will commit to meeting weekly using Roy Kim’s recovery curriculum. We will be prioritizing placement of people in the same small group and life stage.
